Quality and Safety of Care

Quality is at the heart of the management of the university medical center, Hôtel-Dieu de France, and is a central concern for all medical, nursing, and administrative staff serving the patient.

We are focusing on three strategic areas:

  1. Develop the Culture of Quality
  2. Ensure the Coordination of Quality and Risk Management
  3. Conceive and Develop Processes for Continuous Quality Improvement

These guidelines are implemented by all medical and administrative staff to encourage participative leadership centered on the patient, as well as a fair, continuous commitment to improving our services.

The Quality, Patient Safety, and Risk Management Policy (PQ-QMPS-140#3: QGRPS Policy) aligns with the charter of patient rights and obligations, as well as the code of ethics and professional conduct, in accordance with Law 574 of February 11, 2004. The Charter is displayed in all hospital units.
